In this episode, we talk with Jon Sideriadis about his various avenues of artwork. He shares with you how he became the illustrator he is today.


Jon Sideriadis is also a fellow academic, an illustrator, college professor. He is the University of New Haven’s illustration department coordinator, as well as an art director at Spartan Museum of Art. Jon specializes in and enjoys creating artwork in the realm of mythology.

During this episode with Jon Sideriadis and Erin, we discuss his background, and how he grew to hold pervasive knowledge of both art and illustrative content. Many artists may have overlapping paths or pivots in their careers. Jon shares what caused him to go from virtual to 2D, and how he made this smooth transition. Sideriadis followed his passion and used networking and personal experience to help him get where he ultimately wanted to be.
